At times we may feel that God has forgotten us. We often ask why He can't prevent the things we dislike from happening? Such situations can be very frustrating when we don't understand His ultimate plan for our lives. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God's ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts.
God is almighty! Our God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. He has all the power and can prevent you from going through those difficulties but if you have never faced a situation beyond your ability, would you have ever cried for God's help the way you did?? In the midst of such moments then you will grow to know Him more.
Whatever we are faced with, if you are in the will of God, you will overcome by God's help. God's hand is still working, even though you might not be seeing it. All things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
But if we imprison ourselves in situations that have been caused by our own disobedience when we choose to go our own way and not following His plans and purposes for our lives. Slowly we sway from His direction and get ourselves into issues that God has not planned for us. Painfully He will bring us to the place where we have to face judgements. "I correct and discipline those whom I love, so be serious and repent!" Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
Don't let sin control the way you live. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world but let God transform you into a new person since you have been given a new life. Identify whatever is holding you right now and declare by faith it is not powerful enough to hold you from becoming who God has called you to be.
Failure to discern, will delay your destiny from being realized. Prayer during such times is the key that will grant you access to the wisdom of God for your understanding. The Lord is good, He shows the proper path to those who go astray. Stop complaining and start praying and praising Him. Seek His face and wait upon Him patiently.
All we need to do to break the chains is to admit we have sinned and confess them. Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and you will be set free. His anger last a moment but his favor last a lifetime. Don't let evil get the best of you but conquer evil by doing good. His eyes watch over those who do right and hear their prayers.
Your pain should not change your plans. Press on to what God has prepared for you in future. I know it takes time to come to that place of joy when everything seems to be going bad for you. But hold to the word of God. Everything will turn out for your good.
God's grace is made available to us during times of challenges. One day, you will grow to appreciate the things that happened in your past that were not pleasant to you at that moment. You will understand later that those are the things that have helped prepare you for God's kingdom. "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but be patient; I have overcome the world."
Hold on, help is on the way. May God help you in your times of battles! Then you can tell the world, the same God who delivered me will also deliver you.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
