Seventeenth of April Two Thousand and Ten - Pulau Aman

In BMV100 we all work hard and we play hard. So we had our first one day trip outing to an island off the coast of Bukit Tambun, Seberang Jaya. Pulau Aman, The Island of Peace.

From Penang we drove all the way to Batu Kawan to the jetty nearby the stadium. The island is about 10 minutes away from the jetty by boat. Oh yes, it is very near..
Pulau Aman is a small Malay Fishermen Village. Throughout my day trip there, I only saw boat, sampan and bicycle. We travelled around the island by foot under the hot burning sun.

Activities that you can do; hiking, fishing, or swimming. But I suggest no swimming. So don't expect too much, honestly there's nothing much you can do there.

There are home stay programs and beachfront chalets for rent too if you plan to overnight. We rented two beach front chalet units to accommodate 30 of us.

In the chalet, you can fish from the balcony. Or you can just chill outside the chalet by the beach.

Bonding time! We entertained ourselves with games, never ending cam-whoring session and story telling.

Most people travel all the way there just for their famous Mee Udang with big fresh prawns and fresh seafood.

 RM 6.00 per bowl
RM 2.00 per he kor bak
RM 6.00 per plate

After lunch we went back to the chalet and chillax until about 6pm, we packed and left.

                               Goodbye Pulau Aman!!!

For dinner we had seafood again at Yen Batu Kawan Seafood Restaurant. The food was awesome. But we only managed to take a few pictures here as we were too busy eating those finger licking good delicious seafood served. Burp!
